QLGRA Membership

To become a member of the Queensland Local Government Reform Alliance Inc (QLGRA) or to renew your membership please complete the relevant class application form below and return with payment. The QLGRA has three classes of membership being:

Ordinary Group Members

Ordinary Group Members are organisations that agree to the objectives of the QLGRA  and are actively involved in the promotion of these objectives. This class of membership is entitled to 2 Group Representative Delegates able to vote at QLGRA

General Meetings, until such time as the Ordinary Memberships with the QLGRA exceed 20 groups. Upon which they are entitled to 1 Group Representative Delegate able to vote at QLGRA General Meetings.

All Membership Applications are review and approved by the Management Committee at the next available Management Committee Meeting. Applicants will be advised on the outcome of their Application via email. If a Membership Application is declined by the Management Committee a refund of any Membership Fees paid relevant to the Application will be reimbursed to the Applicant.

All Membership Fees are for a financial year period, from the 1st of July to the 30th of June in the subsequent year. All Memberships expire at the end of the financial year.

APPLICANTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE QLGRA INC DOES NOT HOLD PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE COVER AND ALL INVOLVEMENT WITH THE QLGRA OR ATTENDANCE AT ANY QLGRA FUNCTION WILL BE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.

Cost:   $50.00 per Financial Year

Associate Group Members

Associate Group Members are organisations that agree with the objectives of the QLGRA but do not have the QLGRA’s objectives as the primary focus for their organisation.

This class of membership is entitled to 2 Group Representative Delegate able to vote at the QLGRA General Meetings.

All Membership Applications are review and approved by the Management Committee at the next available Management Committee Meeting. Applicants will be advised on the outcome of their Application via email. If a Membership Application is declined by the Management Committee a refund of any Membership Fees paid relevant to the Application will be reimbursed to the Applicant.

All Membership Fees are for a financial year period, from the 1st of July to the 30th of June in the subsequent year. All Memberships expire at the end of the financial year.

Ordinary Individual Members

Individual Members are Individuals who support the Objectives of the QLGRA.

This class of membership is entitled to 1 vote at QLGRA General Meetings.

If you hold a Pension Concession Card issued by either Centrelink or the Department of Veteran’s Affairs you may apply for a concession fee of 50%. To apply for a concession fee you are required to provide evidence.

All Membership Applications are review and approved by the Management Committee at the next available Management Committee Meeting. Applicants will be advised on the outcome of their Application via email. If a Membership Application is declined by the Management Committee a refund of any Membership Fees paid relevant to the Application will be reimbursed to the Applicant.
